My tiny hands

Katie got a elephant piggy bank for Christmas. Each time you put a coin in it, it moves it's trunk and makes a elephant call. It just tickles Katie to hear it's sound. She always insists I open it's bottom end and take some coins out so we can hear the call. Today was no different! I removed 3 pennies, 1 quarter, and 2 dimes, and put each one back in so we could hear it. I loved watching her grin over this simple toy, she is my joy! It was time to washing our hands for lunch. Katie's favorite place to wash hand is in the kitchen sink. She loves it because she not only gets to stand on a stool but I use the sprayer to rinse her hands off! I very gingerly placed the soap in the palm of her hand and looked down at our hands. Her little bitty hands were cradled in mine. It made me feel blessed, loved, and responsible! As simple as this moment was I will never forget it! She's growing up so quickly, I feel I need to hang onto as many of these moments as I can.
