We had the wonderful opportunity to visit with Blake's Paw paw and his wife Nelda over the weekend. The are amazing people, so hospitable! They live in a gated community in Hide-away(that's near Tyler), it surrounds a huge lake. Paw paw and Nelda keep a very beautiful garden full of flowers and they even grow vegetables. They're garden has won numerous blue ribbon awards. Every time we go to visit we have to spend at least 2 hours enjoying the garden.
When we moved into our home Blake made it know that,"the inside is yours, and the outside is mine." He has a lot of plans for our landscaping outside, I'm excited to see what he comes up with. Nelda is incredibly knowledgeable about gardening so she gave us a lot of advice. They also sent us home with a lot of trimmings. As long as we get them in now, we should see them sprout by the spring. We really enjoyed spending time with them.
