Emily Field Trip

I got the opportunity to volunteer at Emily's very first field trip. They went to a place called Green Meadow Farm, it was only a few miles from her school. I think above all else Emily was most excited about riding the bus. Which of course terrified me. The only people I entrust to drive my kiddos anywhere are close friends and family. I got to Green Meadows about 20 minutes before their bus arrived which made me crazy. Eventually they got there and I was fine. :0) Emily came out of the bus with a big smile, she really enjoyed her bus ride. They lined up by their classes and then we were off to explore.

I was responsible for Emily and just one other little girl named Selena. She is super sweet! Her and Emily are about the same size and have similar personalities. They milked a cow, got to pet all sorts of animals, learn fun facts, took a hayride, picked out a pumpkin, and the highlight of their day...they chased chickens. I could tell how much Emily appreciated that I was there, I'm so lucky to do what I do. I love being a mom!!!
