What's for dinner? Have a seized every opportunity to teach my girls a valuable lesson today? Have I been charitable today? Have I inspired my daughters to be good people? Have I given thanks to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ? Have I made something beautiful today? I'm battling the SUPER MOM/WIFE COMPLEX!
We were all gathered around the table for dinner and I was being a real downer. I was giving myself a hard time, feeling kind of inadequate. Just when I was about to feel even worse, Emily turn to me and said " Mommy but you are creative." I think we as women put a lot of focus on what is yet to be achieved. I want this kind of life, my life would be better if only things were blank!!! I need to stop and remember that I know nothing of the future and I'm not in control!!! But He is glorious and He created me and that makes me glorious!!! I just need some reminding!!!
