Today Blake and Emily gave our lawn and shrubs some much needed attention. While washing the dishes inside I glanced at our porch door that leads to the back yard and this is what I saw. I had to take pause and really take in the moment. My grandfather growing up was definitely a father figure to me but nothing compares to the love that Emily and Blake (and now Kate) share. I am so glad that my girls have such a great father.
